Summary

Anti-Blur Blocker does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal or sensitive user data. The extension has no backend server, makes no network requests, and contains no analytics or tracking code of any kind.

What the extension does

Anti-Blur Blocker intercepts the blur and focusout events on web pages so that a site cannot detect when you switch away to another tab or window. It is disabled by default and only takes effect on domains that you explicitly enable through the extension's popup.

Data we handle

The extension stores exactly one piece of information: the list of domain names for which you have turned the feature on. For example, if you enable it on example.com, the string example.com is recorded.

This list is saved with the chrome.storage.local API. It remains on your own device, is never uploaded anywhere, and is removed when you uninstall the extension. Turning the feature off for a domain deletes that entry immediately.

Permissions and why they are needed

• storage — to remember, on your device, which domains you enabled.
• tabs — to read the address of the currently active tab so the popup can display its domain name and apply your setting to the correct site. The address is used in memory at that moment and is never stored or transmitted.
• Host access to all sites — the blocking script must run before a page's own scripts do, and any website may use focus detection, so the script cannot be limited to a fixed list of sites. No page content is read, modified, or sent anywhere.

Data sharing

No data is shared with the developer or with any third party, because no data ever leaves your browser. The extension does not use remote code and does not communicate with any external server.

Children's privacy

The extension does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
